We made The Big K Hostel, Karimunjawa to provide an awesome adventure holiday experience. We set out to create a spacious and indulgent alternative to the typical homestay or budget hotel, but keep our prices affordable with beds starting at IDR 120,000 per night.

Natural timber and stone, and a steep site create an interesting arrangement of building and outdoor spaces. The hostel is focussed around a central courtyard cafe and open bar where breakfast is served in the morning and drinks and meals in the evening.

The Big K Hostel sits on the side of the hill overlooking the harbour, only a 2 min bike ride up from the ferry arrival. From the airport, it’s 30 minutes by car. There’s always plenty of people around at both the airport and ferry terminal, and if you haven't already arranged transport we will happily arrange it for you.
